Тальбина – ресторан азиатской и западноевропейской кухни. Цель компании - развиться до размеров сети. Постепенно это реализуется, в чем состоит также и моя заслуга, как бренд-дизайнера данной компании, которую я вел с нуля.

Нейминг.
Проанализировав рынок данной ниши совместно с основателями компании было принято коллективное решение, что ресторан будет именоваться в честь самой знаменитой каши в восточной кухни.

Процесс.
Преимущество данного проекта в том, что среди прямых конкурентов отсутствовала визуальная составляющая бренда. Поэтому качество кейса заведомо ожидалось быть высоким.
Брейншторминг проходил в команде сооснователей и менеджеров компании. Утвердив мудборд, ассоциавтиный ряд которого напрямую был связан с общей концепцией ресторана, мы приступили к выбору вариантов, предложенных мною в качестве общего стиля.

Итог.
В конечном счете, проект был представлен на рынке весьма успешно, подтверждением чему, является положение предприятия на сегодняшний день, даже в условиях пандемии они открывают второй филиал. Считаю, немалую часть успеха им принесла актуальная концепция и айдентика, что могу считать своей заслугой.

Talbina is new restaurant it’s associated with a specific cultural food, Islamic and western Asian food. their goal is to branch out.

The problem and challenge

The challenge started as soon as I spoke with the client for the fist time. because they didn't even had a specific name selected. which means no logo no brand ID.

Solution:
• Naming:

In the second meeting I have analyzed their vision and I had couple of names. but the client also had his own list. but the most impotent thing is to come up with something good. so, I really liked "talbin" it was on my clients list. it means Talbina is a soup made from barley flour,formed by adding milk and honey to the dried barley powder. It is called talbina, which comes from the Arabic word laban meaning yogurt (milk/fermented churned milk), because of its resemblance to yogurt, as it is soft and white.Barley is a good source of insoluble and soluble dietary fiber. The soluble fiber portion contains the richest source of beta-glucans compared to any other grain; these can aid immune function. so, it was the perfect name for their purpose and goal.

• Brand ID:

I had to analyze the market for this kind of restaurants. the problem was most of them did't even had a proper logo. no visualization what so ever. So, after digging even deeper, I come up with some ideas.

The process:
• after the talk with the client I have got some ideas that later on I visualized in a mood board

the idea was to in this key wards (talbina, gold, round, solid,  barley, simple)

• Next step was sketching and brainstorming

I was updating my client about the process to have some direction (it's very dangers step you should be careful about what the client want's and asks, overall it's up you as a designer. but you should know that your client is not your creative director) I had a vision and I started to sketch.

• Vectorize

I selected some options I liked and started to draw them on my vector program.

• Selecting options to show the client

I really liked what I have started with, simple and bold. so focused on that option and put other options to give my client clear contrast of options so he can be sure.

• the chosen one

I word more on the chosen option so feel satisfied (of course the client too)) and I made some mock ups for the location and menu.

• Finishing

it was time to finish and contact the printing partner to print the first edition menus and to install the lighting shop sign.

• Celebrating with a good meal wasn't a bad idea)

Outcome:

I had a great time helping this client, and I really enjoyed the food. every project gives me a unique knowledge. I engage in their market and know a lot of useful things about the business. After all the project was nothing but success but unfortunately they had a hard time because the bad timing with the current epidemic that hit the world. I wish them success. but thankfully their business is not down so there is a hope.

I had a great time helping this client, and I really enjoyed the food. every project gives me a unique knowledge. I engage in their market and know a lot of useful things about the business. After all the project was nothing but success but unfortunately they had a hard time because the bad timing with the current epidemic that hit the world.
